  • Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • Consent — where you have given us explicit permission, such as authorizing a QuickBooks Online or Google account connection

You may withdraw consent at any time by disconnecting an integration in the Service or by contacting us as described in Section 12.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (including authentication cookies and local storage) to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and analyze usage of the Service. You can control the use of cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies will prevent you from signing in to the Service.

5. Sharing and Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

A. Service Providers

We share information with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Service, including our cloud hosting and database provider, email delivery service, and the integration partners listed in Section 6.

B. Authorized Recipients

When you (or your firm) designate recipients for a client's recap, those recipients will receive emails and may receive shareable report links that display the relevant client financial summaries.

C. Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, reorganization, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

D. Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend the rights or property of the Company, prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing, or protect the safety of users of the Service or the public.

E. With Your Consent

We may share your information with third parties when you have given us explicit consent to do so.

6. Third-Party Integrations

  • Google (Google Sign-In and Google Sheets) — to authenticate users and read or write spreadsheets you connect
  • Our cloud platform provider — for application hosting, database, authentication, and storage
  • Our transactional email provider — to deliver recap and notification emails

We only request the minimum scopes necessary to provide the Service. You may revoke an integration's access at any time through the connected provider's account settings and within the Service.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information and client data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When information is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it.

8. Security of Your Information

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit (SSL/TLS), encryption at rest for stored OAuth tokens, role-based access controls, and regular security review of our hosting environment.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Service at your own risk.
